Biography

Geoff S. Stahl joined Liggio Law in 2012. Since then, Mr. Stahl has played a pivotal role in obtaining results for both individual and class action cases for clients of the firm. From the initial consultation through resolution (whether by settlement or verdict), Mr. Stahl handles various litigation matters, including complex civil and commercial litigation, consumer fraud and protection issues, insurance denials (including homeowner’s and health insurance denials) as well as statutory and contractual violations, to name a few. Mr. Stahl also works very closely with appellate lawyers for cases that are appealed. In addition, Mr. Stahl is a part of a select group of attorneys who have been declared Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyers by the Florida Bar.

Prior to joining the Liggio Law team, Mr. Stahl was an associate with Mattlin & Wyman, PL, where he concentrated his practice on civil and commercial litigation in Florida State and Federal Courts. Mr. Stahl has also worked for Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s (FINRA-formerly the NASD) dispute resolution office and clerked as an extern at the Fourth District Court of Appeal for the Honorable Dorian K. Damoorgian. Prior to pursuing a second career in the field of law, Mr. Stahl spent five years in nonprofit management. Mr. Stahl was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee and earned bachelor’s degrees in both Business Administration and Psychology, while playing football for Austin Peay State University where he was a 4 year starter and letterman. After deciding to pursue a new career, Mr. Stahl obtained his JD/MBA in only two and half years through a joint degree program at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida where he finished at the top of both of his business and law classes.

Geoff loves spending time with his wife and three daughters. He’s a proud Marlins and Dolphins fan!
